GL Accountant

GL Accountant
Miejsce pracy: Łódź
Scope of duties:
- Weekly interface for freight invoice (billing, service, payment & correction)
- Monthly interface for mobile communication (AT&T and T-Mobile)
- Monthly interface for vehicle reimbursement program (Motus)
- Post Cash uploading bank file and daily reconciliations
- Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations per the master reconciliation schedule
- Prepare various journal entries in support of the monthly financial close
- Prepare monthly medical expense allocation through the SAP HR allocation tool
- Oversee the monthly recharge of Intercompany Internal Orders
- Balance Sheet Account Maintenance (profit center clearing, cost center validation, open item account management)
- Prepare government census data forms as required from time to time
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages for various entities
- Assist with periodic special projects of the general ledger team
What we want:
- Minimum 5-6 years’ experience with an accounting and or auditing background
- Minimum bachelor degree in accounting, finance or similar field;
- Strong communication skills including fluent English
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment, multi-task, establish priorities and adapt to change
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to take ownership of processes and accounts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
